Be sure to only ask important information, asking for too much information can scare away the visitor and then you lose a potential customer.
Once you have contacts then it’s time to put the autoresponder to use. You need to know what information you want to send to your contacts as well as when the information is to be sent. You might want to send an autoresponder message as soon as a sale is made, as soon as someone signs up for your website, when something is shipped, whenever someone asks a question through email and other things. You can have unique autoresponders for different things, and it helps to have multiple emails that are specifically set up for autoresponders.
You can also use autoresponders as a marketing strategy. If you are using it to supply different courses or information, you can program it to send the information at specific times and to specific people. It is a great way of following up with potential customers by regularly giving them the information that they seek as well as saving you a lot of time and confusion about who has received what and when. A customer who regularly receives valuable information from you is far more likely to click on one of your links and make a purchase as you have slowly built up trust.
