This is just a short list of the harm that spyware can cause. Most people think there's someone hacking into their system, putting spyware on to their PC. In fact that's just the opposite; spyware showed up on your PC, because it was invited. That's right, spyware didn't crash the party, and it was invited by you the host. I know you are saying, why would I put spyware on my PC. Searching the internet is like having unprotected sex; never know what you may contract. When searching the internet makes sure you use protection, spyware protection. If you're not running a spyware program on your PC while you surfing the internet, you are doomed. The most dangerous sites are music downloads and porn sites.

If you visit these type of sites regularly; without spyware protection, you're asking to be hit upside the head with some spyware. Some of these sites are crawling with harmful spyware, just waiting to hop aboard and infect your PC. Believe it or not, 95% of the computers surfing the internet are infected with spyware. Most victims don't even know they contracted spyware; until it's too late. By then spyware is sitting in the driver's seat, and you are just along for the ride.

Don't let this happen to you, take your PC back. First thing you need to do, scan your pc for spyware. Some spyware sites offer free spyware scans, so you can detect weather you have spyware or not. Once you discover you have spyware on your system, it's time to install a spyware program. Remember all spyware programs are not created equal, so make sure you get the best bang for your buck.
