Most people prefer to approach learning about Christianity through the lessons taught by people who have spent a lot of time researching the Bible. Some of these people have college degrees and are ordained in a religion that follows the practices outlined by the followers of Christ in the olden days. Sunday school teachers come from all walks of life but they have one focus and that is Jesus Christ.

Some of the lessons on Christianity begin when people are very young. They go to Sunday school classes designed for children and begin to learn about Christ by applying pictures that they have colored to a storyline and eventually the concept of Christ walking through crowds and performing miracles takes a foothold in their education about Christ.

Children are delighted when Christ turns two fishes into enough food to feed millions. They take their lesson home and relate to their parents how they know they will never be hungry. They begin to form their thoughts about God's reassurance that he will never give us more than we can handle and that he is there to take care of all of our needs.

Their Sunday school lessons taught them that their Christianity will always leave them hungering to hear the marvelous things that were done so long ago. The learning experience might sadden them one day when they learn that Christ was killed on a cross, but then their spirits will be uplifted when the Sunday School teacher tells them about Jesus was sent to Heaven to help create a place where we could all go one day and live with God.

As we get older, we go to Sunday school to get educated about Christianity. The Bible is the written words of the Son of God, Jesus and the words of his father, God. It is a complex compilation of writings from a number of people who started the Christian religion. The Bible can not be fully understood without careful study and the weekly lessons that are taught in Sunday school allow people to discuss the finer points of every word written in the Bible.

The teaching of Christianity through Sunday school is a very enlightening experience. The practice of meeting each week in the early morning hours before Church teaches people to commit to their study about Christianity. It also bolsters the camaraderie and closeness that Christians have with each other. The studies of the Bible and the historical trails through the eyes of the people who lived during that time will be teachings of Christianity that will leave you refreshed and ready to hear the message chosen for the morning church service.
